Dear writers and artists,

Portland Review is now accepting submissions for the month of November. We seek well-crafted fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and artwork for publication in our upcoming Winter 2016 issue. All submissions will also be considered for web publication, contributing authors will be invited to read at our Winter 2016 Launch Reading, and all contributors will receive a free copy of the issue plus discounts on additional issues.

As usual, we are looking for quality works, regardless if they fit into the traditional definitions of genre. We also encourage previously unpublished writers to submit, and we support voices often marginalized in the literary conversation, including (though certainly not limited to) people of color, women, and members of the LGBTQIA communities. To submit your work and view our submission guidelines, please visit our Submittable page.
