I am a perennial vegetable
drinking myself purple
Loosely, we chained devils
spot a mushroom on the backyard
On the backyard sonnet
On the blessed easter of my chosen
mother who sits like a strawberry
in a cozy chair, I love her on my knees
shorn braids and the fish kindness do you remember
the attunement of your youth
in flowers, one foot on water
A child by the death veil surrounds, she learned from the other side
And loving now the giant hemlock in the shit covered park lapped and paced and circled
By women who love you
