Stephanie Macias is a writer, artist, and musician living in Austin, TX. She holds an MFA in fiction from the New Writers Project at the University of Texas. Her stories have been long-listed, short-listed, and finalists for multiple prizes and nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize four times. Her work has appeared in Epiphany, StoryQuarterly, Brink, No Tokens, Southern Humanities Review, and more. She is the managing editor at American Short Fiction.
