Irene Cooper wrote the feminist noir novel Found, winner of the North Street Prize; Committal, poet-friendly spyfy about family; and spare change: poems, finalist for the 2022 Stafford/Hall award, Oregon Book Awards. Writings appear in Beloit Poetry, Denver Quarterly, The Rumpus, Witness, and elsewhere. Her most recent poetry collection is even my dreams are over the constant state of anxiety, from Airlie Press. Irene teaches at OSU-Cascades, Central Oregon Community College, and in community. She lives with her people and Roxy in the middle of Oregon.
